Hello, Alphabet Soup dishes up E, and that means today E-lectric Lite Orchestra. Indeed that aha ! lightbulb did its work but thats not where the name originates. From 1972 to1986, ELO accumulated more combined UK and US Top 40 hit singles than any other band in the world, 46. Todays treat however was all but completely shunned on their UK hometurf. It did sell well in the Wizard of Oz mad(cover) US and mainland Europe, but the Brits didnt like the real orchestra thing or the concept story, what
