Blogs and Other Melodramatic Metaphors

How charming. The shakes are back. I feel an unusual level of sympathy with my blog these daysâ€"not, mind you, what I have written, but the actual electronic mechanism which allows me to jot these schizophrenic thoughts down, those workhorse ones and zeroes doing their best to keep everything going smoothly. I feel this sympathy because it strikes me that we have a lot in common. I have two laughs; has anyone noticed? They are not equal. There is my reserved laugh, a just-shy-of-explosive heh h
