I hate receiving submissions from my friends or people I know. It’s heartbreaking to hear them ask if I liked what they sent… or if I can put it up on the blog. I’d dare say my standards even go UP when it’s someone I know. So, when Dani Deahl sent me her summer mix, I started to cringe a little bit even though I know her taste and I’ve seen her play.
