About 4 months ago--right around the time Warner Bros. announced they were going to go exclusive with Blu-Ray--I bought a Blu-Ray player. I had a dinky little $99 DVD player/recorder, that was fine, but 3 years old and starting to act a little wonky at times (those scratched up Netflix discs don't help--seriously, I thought the DVD format was supposed to be "indestructible"--should I NOT be using them as coasters?).
